I received my Bachelor's of Science degree from Drexel University in Astrophysics with a minor in Mathematics in 2015. Under advisement of Dr. Michelle Dolinski, my undergraduate thesis was the development of a real-time liquid xenon purity monitor for the EXO collaboration. Currently, I am a Ph. D. student in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Northwestern University. My research is in direct detection of dark matter, on the LZ Experiment under advisement by Dr. Eric Dahl.
Additionally, I serve as a co-chair for the outreach committee of the newly formed Physics and Astronomy Graduate Student Council. The goal of the outreach committee is generate public interest in physics and science as a whole and to encourage younger generations to pursue careers in STEM fields.
In my free time I enjoy designing and building electronics and repairing and wrenching on my Toyota 4Runner. I am also an avid snowboarder and advanced open water SCUBA diver, with more than 50 hours bottom time.
